Amatripline stopped after years.

Been on Amatripline for about 10 years and have come off as felt pulse a bit high now i cannot sleep after 4 in the morning - its very annoying. should i go back on it. Please help. Tried herbal Valerian but no good. Ruby.

Hello Ruby,

I would suggest that you go to see your GP. It may mean that you are prescribed another drug that doesn’t affect your heart rate.

I think you should stay off that drug, your body needs a rest from it.
