Lets start a Christmas list to santa....there is only one difference it has to be the most silliest present you want....
I want to relive my childhood.....so I want the full Bay City Roller gear!!!
My very 1st album was a Bay City Rollers one......even had the high waisted jeans 🙊😂 In my defence I am a Scottish lass 😂
I want to go to Willy Wonka's factory for a tour!😳😍😝😎🐷🐖🎂🍰🍩🍮🍦🍨🍧🍭🍬🍫
I'd love to dance with Alijaz or Geovanni from Strictly Come Dancing but I'd like to have a model figure to do it and be 20 years younger!! 😂😂
Pogo Stick, Roller Skates and some Stilts. I'd give them a go too!! (Although I'd probably end up in A&E haha!)
I had a pogo stick too 😂probably fall off these days. I can't have osteoporosis as had a fall flat on my face near the supermarket. Tripped up the step. I felt so stupid wished the ground had opened up beneath me.
I was going to ask for a pogo stick and stilts! I used to be really good
I want a Hatchimal and I don’t think 29 is too old for toys. See link if you don’t what I’m talking about; smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toy...
I never heard of a Hatchimal until now, but I want one too!
What I want, is not a silly present..... A new Kettle, because mine has just blown up!
Ended up boiling water in the microwave, for a not so decent cup of tea for me & my sister :/
I want a fingerling, a silly toy that clings to your fingers and it chatters, spits and sleeps, it’s designed for 6 year old but I would love one to play with lol
We don't go mad at Christmas and we buy lots of smaller presents and I really have asked for PEZ sweets with dispenser. I'll be disappointed if I don't get them. : )
|We buy useless presents with the least amount of money possible.xxx
Ooo I used to love them too!
Playdoh, Plastercine and Fuzzy Felt !
I love playdoh! I make stuff with my daughter lol!
I love those sticky hands that you get from the candy machine!
We must be the same age Julie. I loved to open new strips of plasticine & had a Playdoh Fun Factory & a Fuzzy Felt farm. I had a small box of Lego too, the base was only tiny but I played with it lots. I recently bought a couple of tubs of Playdoh, though not for play, it's to exercise my hands! I swear the tubs have shrunk & it's nowhere near as scented.
I remember being sorely tempted to buy a child's handbag in the shape of a fluffy black and white border collie. Couldn't quite bring myself to do it. I came so close though so would secretly love one of those for Christmas. Along with Mog and the Vet. One of the best children's books ever.
Go for it darling and get it. We buy each other a silly present and the most useless gift it is the better with the least money a well.xxxx
Haha. Ah, it was a few years ago and I do remember checking but they had sold out. I remember it was £12 and I couldn't justify it as I had no small daughter or granddaughter to give it to and I thought people would think I was certifiable if I went to pay for my goods with a border collie purse with a cleverly concealed zip in it's back ! ( The 7 year old me would have been over the moon with it though) : ) xx
It doesn't matter what other people think if it made you feel good then that was perfect.xxx
I'd feel too ridiculous to appear in public but I'd like a grown-up pedal car or a scooter.
Always wanted one of the pedal cars from Bugsy Malone, Oh the joys of fun I could've had
I had a weekend job working for someone whose son was in the film
I wanted one of the machine guns. I dread to think what that says about me
J
Slurge Gun. They were brilliant. Actually got Bugsy Malone on DVD, may have to dig it out & have a good-ole-sing-a-long!!
Hidden Gnarli After a sleep, I remembered the character that the son played was Dandy Dan
I'd like a remote control car to whiz up and down my drive
Thank you for brilliant idea, Sylvie. It's certainly given me a giggle today. Hugs
Jan
Agree. : ) xx
I plan on asking my husband for a set of pink tools but I'm not sure how silly that is as it is a very useful item it's just unusual to be pink.
I started something here haven't i,love it keep them coming, as it means just because we are chronically ill we still know how to have fun.xxxxx
Yes and that's so important Sylvi. It takes a lot away but we must not lose ourselves to it. xx
I wanna little kitty!! 😻. I do but I don’t...just had my house redecorated and new carpets and would be paranoid about a new cat trashing the place! 🙀
Here's your little kitty 🐱, Soreknees2016, & he won't trash the new carpets: giphy.com/gifs/AiUWQ1WhPGlR...
Dear Santa I'd love a new pair of feet my old ones are a bit worn. I promise to be a good boy and walk Jack even further.
Thanks Sylvi that's the first letter I've wrote to Santa for about 67 yrs.
Regards Mike.
I want to be able to wear the most outrageously high, red heels for a day. I so miss nice shoes.
Ha ha my sentiments exactly! I've told my family to dress me in red high heels when I pop my clogs. I'll wear the damn things somehow 😂
The fit me would love some proper stilts. I never had any as a child but my mum did make me some with a couple of grapefruit tins & string. Must have driven her mad with the noise they made!
A reindeer outfit for my horse. And a sleigh. With bells! X
A full-on troika would be neat - then the music from Lieutenant Kijé and that would be an amazing Christmas picnic.

I tell you what I want, what I really really want. I wanna, I wanna......
New body would be good 🙃!! Reckon I’ve been good all year for Santa to put me on the good list 🎅🏻😆
A little basket full of wool, knitting needles and French knitting doll, this was a regular Christmas present from my grandmother and whenever I see one brings back happy memories of her. A meal cooked by Gino de Campo, but then I would need the trip to Italy to go with it lol. X
An Enid Blyton book and an annual of some sort. Always git those when I was a little girl. Loved the smell of new books. Weird eh? Love love love Christmas
I used to like my brother's Thunderbird annual. I still cook my poached pears from a Lady Penelope recipe that was in one of those. (Original long since gone but that recipe was the first time I poached them.)
I still remember an elaborate story that involved Lady Penelope's keen musical ear that helped her to detect that a piano had been altered - there was a dummy key involved and an injection into a false finger. Yada, yada. But my brother was such a good pianist and himself excellent at being able to identify a piece of music from the 'dummy keyboard' segment on Face the Music that I've always strongly identified him with that story.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Face_...
I remember that round on Face the Music! It must have been one of my Dad's favourite programmes I think.
The guests were so impressive, mind so was the presenter, Joseph Cooper. It has to be said tho' that various members of my family were uncannily good at Hidden Melody and Dummy Keyboard.
The regulars Joyce Grenfell, Robin Ray, Richard Baker, and Bernard Levin stick out in my mind. A few years ago BBC re-broadcast a series of Joyce Grenfell programmes in which she performed monologues and they were such a testament to her versatility.
New feet please so I can wear dainty shoes xx
I'd like a wizard of Oz outfit although these days I feel more like the tin man than Dorothy! M x
Sylvi, have you said what you want? If not, we would like to know.
A nice thin body and to be well and maybe a granchild to make a fuss of.xxxx
I want a huge carton of peanut butter ice cream that has no calories and doesn’t make me feel sick if l eat it all! In fact eating it would make me lose weight 🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨 l would also like to be able to sit in the lotus position and more importantly be able to get out of the lotus position without the aid of paramedics 🧘🏽♀️🧘♂️🚑🚑
Dear Santa, this is what I want for Christmas:zillow.com/homedetails/Rabb.... Could you pretty please put a house just like Anne Rice's house in New Orleans on it? Please don't get my daughter my address either! Thank you!!!!
Love, Dani
Want to be able to dance again just for one night: missed an OMD concert i bought ticket for before disease onset, yes 80s throwback i know, love music of all kinds. I want fabulously adapted garden tools to tame my jungle and if we re going lottery money crazy, a Cornish cottage with log burner close to the best surfing beach, for my kids: i think that ship's sailed for me lol x
