I will shortly be relocating to The Sheffield or North Derbyshire area and will need to be referred to a new RA consultant and team. I have been prescribed biologics alongside methotrexate. I am currently in Scotland and have received an excellent service from the NHS. My elderly mother had a very poor experience with a hospital in Chesterfield, something I wish to avoid. I would appreciate any views or recommendations about NHS services for RA either Sheffield or Derbyshire so that I can avoid any pitfalls.

You're on biologics so should be o.k...because of funding ,getting on them is the tough bit in England! I had a really bad experience with my local rheumatologist in the south who misdiagnosed me fir 2 years, but ended up finding a really good one in London ...so a bit of luck as to who you end up with I guess. Bit of research into the doctors ,then try and request who u like the look of maybe?
