Posting a little earlier than usual, but please see the details below of the NRAS Group meetings taking place next week.

NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 2nd October 2017

Bolton NRAS Group

2017 meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of each month (February - December) at Bolton One, Moor Road, Bolton, BL3 5BN from 2.00pm-4.00pm.

3rd October - Bolton NRAS Group's 10th birthday - guest speaker will be Consultant Rheumatologist Dr Vasireddy

Chesterfield NRAS Group

2017 group meetings are held at Bridge Street Methodist Church, (also known as Pilsley Methodist Church) Bridge Street, Pilsley, Chesterfield, S45 8HE on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

3rd October - Guest speaker: Samantha Farmer, Nutritionist from Eaternal

Gloucester NRAS Group

This group meets in the Function Room at Oxstalls Tennis Centre, Plock Court, Gloucester, GL2 9DW (plenty of free parking on site) on the first Wednesday of every other month (April to December) from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

4th October - Talk: ‘Diet and Nutrition for Rheumatoid Arthritis’ presented by: Dawn Swinley, Nutritional Therapist – The Drop a Dress Size Coach

Southend-on-Sea NRAS Group

Meetings take place every other month in the Meeting Room at the Salvation Army Citadel (opposite Morrisons), 146-148 London Road, Hadleigh, Essex, SS7 2PF.

Wednesday 4th October 6:30pm - 8pm - Guest speaker: Maria, Claimant Champion from ATOS will be talking about the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) process and take any and all questions

Warwickshire NRAS Group

The Warwickshire NRAS Group hold meetings at Friends Meeting House, 28 Regent Place, Rugby, CV21 2PN (free on-road parking after 6pm) from 7:00pm - 9:00pm on the first Wednesday of every other month.

4th October - Guest speaker: Dr. Shirish Dubey, Consultant Rheumatologist of University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!

I would like if there was a Leeds group again. I posted something recently to say that I was willing to try organise it and liaise with Chapel Allerton hospital if another person would join forces with me.

Just about to go out so will reply a little later tonight thank you. I did attend a few excellent meetings and talks three years ago at Chapel Allerton in North Leeds. The hospital staff were helpful and brilliant. Just the organisers didn't want to do the group any more.
