Adapted snooker cues

Can one get these? I have recently had my first game since being diagnosed in 2009. Sat down between shots and must say it was enjoyable. However my right hand and fingers are now aching from holding the butt of the cue.

So I wonder can you buy AIDS to make the butt thicker ensuring one does not have to close ones hand so much?

If not, is it possible to fashion your own using Sugru?

Sugru looks wonderful!

Or something like this?

Or even the handlebar tape for bicycles/ tennis rackets and the like would do the job? I've wrapped my handlebars with extra thickness to make it easier.

Sugru is fantastic for all sorts of repairs or customising bits and pieces. It's regularly on offer on Amazon as one of the deals of the day.
