A Come on guys, play nice. We've had a lousy summer. Cool, wet and miserable. I don't have a tan, its rust and would be thrilled to little meatballs to be 'too hot'.

My family would move to Tasmania if I agreed.....

I'd be happy to move to Darwin ........it's pretty much permanently between 32 and 35 degrees , although the nights can drop down .....

It's 18° here today so relatively warm but I'm freezing. Being a permanently chilly selfish old trout the thought of baking gently at 40° was such a lovely thought. I'd love to visit the rellies in Victoria too

Hi! I always tell my husband that someday I want to spend my birthday in Australia. Maybe then I could spend my December birthday on a warm beach? Instead of freezing rain or snow?

Yes , we usually have a hot Xmas ......google Stockton beach ...or Newcastle ...it's where I live. When you come over for your birthday, sing out , and we'll have a barbie on the beach!

Thank you!!! My husband is dying to go to Australia. .I won't accompany to Africa but am willing to go Australia. Poor guy-December is a bad month for him-my bday, Granddaughter #1is 5 days later, then Christmas and then finally our wedding anniversary is a week later....

If only we'd had hot summer weather! We had a nice June but it all went downhill from there! Lovely pic though & I'm sure those of you who did have a long hot summer will be appreciative. 😏

Hi Suzanne! Some parts are...we share Tahoe with Nevada and its in the high Sierras. We had a very short summer here-rain didn't stop until mid-June and fall has come early. Its already down to the 50s Fahrenheit in the mornings. We usually start getting snow in the Sierras around November, with ski resorts shooting for a "good" Thanksgiving weekend. This snow is very early. Looks like it will be looking for warm costumes for Halloween.

Yeah it's down to 50 F here too this morning. Last weekend we were still on the the beach. For the last couple of years, we've been able to have Thanksgiving on the patio, with a light sweater of course. lol

Beeckey, hello! You are welcome to our 110 degree days! I'm ready for crisp fall days and the return of the rain, even though it didn't stop until mid June this year.
