Please find details below of the NRAS Group meetings taking place next week:

NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 18th September 2017

Swansea NRAS Group

Meetings are held at Sketty Parish Centre, De La Beche Road, Sketty, Swansea, SA2 9AR (on the corner with Gower Road - A4118) on a Monday from 7:30pm-9:00pm.

18th September - Group Coordinator Cynthia will be running a session on Mindfulness

Three Counties NRAS Group

This group meets at St. Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

19th September - Occupational Therapists from Frimley Park Hospital will present: 'Help and aids for flexibility and mobility'

Torbay NRAS Group

This new group will hold their meetings at Barton Baptist Church, Happaway Road, Barton, Torquay, TQ2 8HJ once every other month on a Tuesday from 7:00-8:30pm.

19th September - Guest speaker: Alda Gomez, accredited Tai-Chi Teacher and qualified Psychotherapist will present: ‘How body and mind are inter-linked: An Introduction to Tai-Chi for RA’

Oldham NRAS Group

The Oldham NRAS Group hold meetings once every other month from 7:00pm-8:30pm at The Link Centre, Union St, Oldham OL1 1DZ.

Wednesday September 20th - Guest speaker: Professor Will Dixon from Manchester University and Salford Royal Hospital, will present: 'Cloudy with a Chance of Pain research'

Blackpool NRAS Group

Blackpool and District NRAS Group (BADRAG) meet in the cafeteria at Clifton Hospital, Pershore Road, Lytham St. Annes, FY8 1PB from 7:00pm – 8:30pm on the third Thursday of alternate months, January through to November.

21st September - 'Blood Tests explained' by Janice Booth, Rheumatology Nurse

East Dorset NRAS Group

The East Dorset group meet socially for coffee from 11am at Stewarts Garden Centre, Lyndhurst Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 4SA and also Haskins Garden Centre, Longham, Ferndown, Dorset BH22 9DG. Upcoming coffee morning is as follows: 21st September at Haskins.

North Lincolnshire NRAS Group

This new group will hold their meetings in the large meeting room at Cromwell Road Fire Station, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN31 2BN (plenty of free parking) once every other month on a Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm.

21st September - Guest speaker: Rheumatology Consultant, Dr. Dadiras

Stoke-on-Trent NRAS Group

The Stoke-on-Trent NRAS Group are holding all future meetings in the outpatients waiting area at the Haywood Hospital, High Lane, Burslem, ST6 7AG on the third Thursday of every other month from 7:00-8:30pm.

21st September - Guest speakers from Occupational Therapy at Haywood Hospital

Yeovil NRAS Group

The Yeovil NRAS group hold coffee mornings once a month from 10:30am-12pm in two locations in Yeovil: Palmers Garden Centre Coffee Shop, Bernards Way, Bunford Lane, Yeovil, BA20 2FH and The Gateway Cafe, Addlewell Lane, Yeovil, BA20 1QN. Next coffee morning: Thursday September 21st - Palmers.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
