Well, I've tried and still trying the work in pain, but now I am getting feverish. I have a Social Security appointment
on the 21st. I hope to get in the doctor's office today for pain. Walking bone on bone continues my wear and tear on my ankles. The wait is frustrating enough, but working or staying busy seems to help. As I do my paperwork to end my shift, and as I have been seated finally after standing 8 hours... bearing weight is horrific pain once I start to head home. My co workers see it now. It takes 20 minutes extra just for each shoe to be put on and these last few weeks I get the crutches when I get off because of inability to bear weight. Supplemental is a long shot, but anything will help. As much as I hate to soon, that time off is coming. I can handle comes. I have read some serious comments of bravery on here. Keep on livin' I am trying.

I'm glad you have a social sercurity appointment. May I suggest you bring or seek advice from a disability advocate? I live in Canada so I don't know all the "ins & outs" of your social sercurity programs....but I do know that when applying for CPPD (Canada's version of SS) it is always best to get advise from a disability advocate.
Like a lawyer right? I thought about that and have one waiting to hear from me. I thought I would have to be denied first... I will definitely take your advice. Thanks
*update* is on my post. I quit my job. Too young and not terminally ill or half dead for Social Security. Looking for a less than part-time job. My renter is working with me so I am still in my place and have my 3 pets.
Also, my lawyer said the government is placing MORE restrictions on abilities in so many words. I would have to be off for a year too. I don't think I could handke that well
