So sorry to hear sylvi that pain is just not leaving you alone:( This is one thing I have been wondering about. Why is heat experienced as negative for pain and for others soothing in RA. I have much more pain when it's cold and almost creep into the fireplace at wintertime:) Take care and hope the heat will go away soon. Simba

It is because it is a huge spike in the tempreture and not just warm it is scorching hot and that is what does it. The extreme in cold and hot do me in.xxxx

We have had a very long hit and dry season with no change in sight. The weak will continue to be very hot. I hate air conditioning but you may find it helpful ! Hard to manage weather conditions other than vacation. Can you visit someone living in a cooler environment ?

It has been insanely hot here in Vancouver. Texas is experiencing major floods, weather is off globally. Our BC interior has battled wild fires all summer which hundreds still on evacuation. Can no longer deny global warming.

Spain had a terrible heatwave with wildfires as well. We had a heatwave in June when we were on holiday and then it has rained a lot since and this is the first bank holiday we have had that has been this hot for years it usually rains.xxx

Hypothalamus is located on roof of our mouth. Cold drinks 🍹 and food will help keep you cool. Have a Piña Colada and picture a comfortable location lol 😂I am surrounded by fans. Think of it as free sauna. I am just sweeting off pounds .

I don't drink so that wouldn't help me.xxxx

Me either, my Rheum loves having a virgin liver to play with lol 😂 I do prefer sun to rain. Humidity kills me both because of migraines and fibromyalgia.

Understand dear Sylvi. I'm awful with my joints in extremes too. Hang in there as it will be more bearable weather soon. xxx

Kitty is a beaut! We need to see more kitty's guys :-)

Sorry your suffering.

Sweating from heatwave is one thing, pain is a a whole other beast!

I just had a cold shower, then started sweating again once out within minutes, boohoo, bring on the cloud!

The bank hol has been a flop here. Overcast most of the day, 19° so no different to most of last week & now it's spitting. It was sunny yesterday, that brought the grockles in but they'll have been disappointed today.

Cold drinks & fan, you'll not do much better Sylvia. x

My joints were painful too, usually it's cold and damp that affects me more but not yesterday. Plenty of tourists here it has been a lovely bank holiday weekend. Had to look up grockles - never heard that saying before lol. X

I can cope with the heat, it's the bloody cold winters my body can't tolerate. Even walking through the chilled or frozen areas of the supermarkets, WHOA! It's bloody agony for me...

Although, i've loved the sunny Bank Holiday today. 🌞😎

It was lovely, but it was so hot 28% here and it was the extreme heat jump that had my joints screaming. They are not so bad this morning thank goodness.xxxx

My joints were really bad yesterday and the day before, and my lungs joined the party as well! Much cooler today - I've even done a bit of gentle pruning!

It has made me question why we are going to the south of France next week - the temperature was over 100 last year? Mind you the type of heat seems to be different.

It most certainly does,i did well in Spain except for the extreme spike in the heat then it creases me over.xxxx

We are staying in my sisters house which has a lovely shaded decking area. It was the journey down that really crippled me - we only had one overnight stop so there was too much sitting in the car. This time I've taken control and booked two overnight stops each way so there'll only be about four hours driving each day.
