Thank you for your welcome, I was diagnosed with RA in 2005 but 5 years later I was re diagnosed with AS with inflammatory arthritis in the rest of my joints, so I was interested in following the NRAS community as I have and am taking many of the same medications used for treating RA and I still suffer the same pain, discomfort and stiffness as RA sufferers , so I can empathise with what you members are going through and look forward to reading there post and hopefully finding some new ideas on pain management πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜Š have a great weekend everyone

Hi and welcome. This site provides support for people with all types of inflammatory arthritis so you are very welcome here. I also have AS with additional involvement of my ribs and knees, and inject with Benepali weekly. I have found this group to be of great support and hope you will too.

Awww thank you it's so comforting to have others to correspond with about the ups and downs of living with arthritic conditions, it can be so difficult at times especially as the only joint that hasn't been affected by my condition is my left shoulder for some reason πŸ˜¬πŸ˜† xx

As mhairi said, welcome . I too have RA and AS and I've found this site not only to be full of knowledgable , giving people but also witty, funny and caring. If there was ever an upside to this terrible disease(s), then this site is it.

Take care

Marie

Hiya & welcome from me too! It doesn't matter what you're saddled with the end result is the same & as you say we share the same meds. I hope being here helps you find options to ease the uncomfortable side of things, lots of different ones from meds to alternatives to consider & explore. 😊
