Bruising

Having being on MTX and Benepali for 2 years and having monthly blood tests, I have noticed bruising over the past 3 weeks, this does not seem normal for me as I have never bruised before. Anyone else with similar problems?

I have been on benepali for the last 16weeks and I myself have noticed unexplained bruising too. I inject every week and after my injection today I've come up in large itchy spots all over my neck and backs of my arms. Will be taking a trip to Drs in the morning to find out if these are side effects. I suggest you do too if only for reassurance. Take care

Hi Jackadoodle,since being on mtx I bruise and bleed very easily, just the slightest knock or scratch will cause it. I haven't been on mtx for about 2 yrs but the problems still are there.Or is it just part of the R A?

This is interesting as I've started to bruise far more easily since injecting with Benapali. I also bleed and take ages to heal if I knock my hand. Mentioned it to rhuemy nurse and she said it was because I took pred. I've taken it for five years and was on 3 mg when I mentioned it to her. To be honest she wasn't really interested 🙁
