Waiting for a nuclear bone scan

Hi

Im am still trying to get a diagnosis. Suffer from joint pain and stiffness. All blood test so far have been normal, though prednisolonen helps with both. Rheumy suspects PsA

Now my rheumy have referred me for a nuclear bone scan. Does any one have any experience with such a scan? If I have PsA will it show?

I am getting quite desperate that no one seem to be able to find out what is causing this. Now I am only taking OTC pain killers and it is getting harder and harder for me to keep up with working full-time.

I was diagnosed with PsA last year. Pains all over but have dactylitis which is severe finger swelling too. Had isotope bone scan which guess is what u mean? Google it for more info. It showed severe inflammation in hands and feet which is why I'm on a new costly drug called otezla. Have had 2 DMARDS before which didn't work. Thinking of you

Yes I think I mean an isotope bone scan (I am from Denmark so still trying to learn all the english terms). I have no visible swelling so my rheumy is confused and so am I. But also getting frustrated with not knowing anything

Thanks that give me hope. Not that I really want arthritis, but this being in pain and not knowing just kills me
