My turn to vent..

Hi Everyone! I hear this is a safe place to vent! So here goes-I woke up this morning with a sore jaw and aching teeth from grinding my teeth. Yes, I have a mouth guard. I'm just so 😠! Its overcast this morning reminding me that fall is coming and with it comes aching bones and joints and an absentee husband while he devotes himself to His hobbies, having spent the summer on the couch (its too hot to do anything whine ), working or working on the house. I'm trying not to be ungrateful BUT we have a deal-summer, when I feel good we do "summer things "- farmers markets, the lakes etc and I don't bitch too much about his stuff. Also my neighbors on two side will NOT SHUT UP! Every phone call, marital disagreement, custody deal, bathroom break(they annouce what they are going to do to the world)and then loud parties on the weekend! I have a lovely patio garden that I'd like to enjoy but every single time I go out to water or just sit in my garden, there they are, being loud and gross! I just want to scream every curse word I know in every language/dialect I know!

Thanks for listening

Dani

Wow that was big vent Dani and would like to think that you can vent here.

First off, what did your husband do with you in the summer?

I have to admit my pains and aches have come in force with this damp colder weather.

I feel for you with regards knowing your neighbors every single wimper, have you tried having a word or are they hostile?

Are they council owned?

Hope your feeling slightly better after rant

Vent away! The neighbor issue would drive me nuts. Have you tried to kill them with kindness and let them know that with your illness you sometimes could use a little more peace and quiet?

Good luck with the hubby. Gotta love 'em. Sometimes they can be so insensitive, but sometimes so can we. I often refer to my hubby as my 4th child. Wink wink.

Blessings and hugs to you.

And breathe 😋

I think we all can get to this point, vent away. Hopefully with today being a new day things might look brighter. X

Hi Everyone and thanks for replying! Yes I do feel better. Hubby and I went to our local farmers market (he is making an effort now to save himself bitching later. Also, he Needs me to chaperone a couple of skills learning trips). Unfortunately, the neighbors are the kind that if you mention yhey are bothering you they just get louder and more crass. It seems like they may be on vacay this week! Its soooo quiet! I told hubby that today is a "spoon recovery" as tomorrow I need to take my anxiety disordered son to the Endodontist and Thursday have a root canal myself, along with getting thread to make a baby afghan for hubby's co-worker.

Again, Thanks for listening! Xox

I love your garden!!

I too had loud abnoxious nieghbours. They drove our nieghbourhood crazy!!! One summer day I was hosting a family BBQ and the fools started misbehaving. My hubby took off the muffler on our lawn mower and let it run. We went to our front patio to have our dinner... The next day, we let our nieghbours know we have a jack hammer.... Sounds aggressive? Maybe...but our other nieghbours were thrilled!! Peace & happiness now....Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.

Hi Sue! That's my feeling too-a small fan in the bathroom window, pointing to blow his smoke right back at him-along with some incense...I also have some really old zydeco cds and hubby has good speakers...

Thank you! My garden isn't a big as it was last year due to a late start cuz rain...lasted until June

We were in a drought cycle for the last few years but seemed to have moved into the "wet and cool" part now. Relitively cool summer and what looks to be early fall with rain starting next month....just not Halloween!
