Hi Pete, I haven't had this injection before, but I am aware that it is known to cause mild stomach cramps. If the flushing sensation lasts for longer, maybe you should let your GP know. Better safe than sorry! Hope you feel better.
Hi thanks for that still an awareness of that sensation somewhat milder however I'm getting shooting pains in places even my eyeball my be I'm a little paranoid not keen on the idea of biological therapy but it's all that's left on the table
I hear that biologic therapy has minimal side effects, not sure how true that is. I actually wanted to go on biologics, but my doc said to stay on methotrexate because it is working well :/
Oh RA took my job of 28 years from me so I do sympathise with you.
Peter
Your mind is a very powerful thing, so if you're nervous about taking biologics then it's quite possible that the stress is causing you to react. How do you feel if you eat a extra spicy curry? Can you try to tell yourself that this is a normal reaction a bit like a strong curry that you've not tasted before and it will wear off?
However, it's a fine line as if you really feel that you are having an allergic response to the drug then phone 111.
