Hi everyone I hope you are all coping well with your joints in the warm and humid weather I can’t wait to start my injections on Sunday with the healthcare nurse (tocilizuamab) is anyone else on this injection and does it have great results and what side affects are there x

Hi, good luck with it.My own experience of Tocilizumab has been life changing, with minimal side effects. Of course, we are all different in the way our bodies react to drugs, so I hope it goes well for you.

Life changing for me after complete failure on 4 other biologics. We're all different and I have had a few flares but life is good again. Bit more prone to infections but no discernible side effects on a daily basis. Hope it works for you.

As the others said it’s the best one I’ve been on, for me it started working after just 24 hours! I’ve been on it 7 years now and it’s still working great. No side effects except for allergies but they started with my first biologic and have never gone. 😉 Good luck!

Sorry didn't work for me. Caused increased pain in my shoulders . Tried for 16 weeks shoulders so sore. Stopped shoulders back to my normal. Tried again same thing happening. Moat great on it was so disappointed. Good luck

I’m waiting to start it too , but mine is in tablet form. I’m hoping it is going to work after trying so many others that haven’t worked . Fingers crossed xx

Hi Beth, ive been on tocz for 6yrs after trying various meds that either didnt work or had side effects. It was the best thing for me, i was so ill before hand. This has given me some of my life back. I havent really had any side effects. I have gained a lot of weight but wether thats down to the drug i dont know? I find injecting my tummy better than leg, simple to use. I hope you have the sucess that ive had.🤞 mandy😁

Had my first injection today let’s hope it works for me because every medication iv tried hasn’t so fingers crossed 🤞 x

I think my consultant said this is the very last meds Iv got left to try or otherwise I have to give methotrexate another try but start on low dose through a drip????
