Overwhelming eh? I take my mtx in the morning and spend the day watching TV & sleeping. Please remember to drink lots of water. Water helps me to chase headaches away the next day.

I just seemed to be sleepy all the time. No sickness just confused and sleepy. The side effects left me after 24 hrs. Just remember to drink lots of water on mtx day. I forgot to once and boy oh boy what a head ache. Oh don't forget to take folic acid as perscribed by your doctor. Please don't fret on how much folic acid 1 mg or 5 mg daily or 6 days aweek except mtx day. Just follow your doctors advice. I wasted too much time worrying about folic acid. North America seems to take it 7 days a week or 6 days a week.

Well, you've taken the first step Denise, well done! I'd check with the hospital when you've to take your MTX, it may be critical in a trial as the protocol is usually strict if they're to receive acurate results. x

Not funny, but still hysterical at times. I have been struggling with my shoulder for two months, and thought I was taking Flexeril at night. I finally put my glasses on the other night and realized I was taking Folic acid, not Flexeril. Told my hubby and he just laughed at me =)
