On Thursday this week my 15 year old grandson is having his hair cut/clipped in assembly at his school for NRAS. He will be loosing his "man bun" for a grade 2, which I am told is not quite shaved. So far he has raised £200 and hopes to make more. He has the NRAS fund raising information which has already proved useful for making others more aware of our disease.
I hope this will inspire others to get involved with RA awareness.

That's amazing! Such a brave grandson you have to have his hair chopped off and he's already raised such a huge amount for NRAS. It sounds like he's already got our fundraising pack but it would be lovely to hear more about both you and your grandson and maybe share some pictures of the shave afterwards? Please get in touch with Bronwen in our Fundraising team at bronwen@nras.org.uk
That's an amazing thing to do. If he is like my grandsons they are very fussy over their hair. Wishing him a great day, not only collecting money for such a worthy cause as ours, but the awareness side if it. Look forward to some before and after pic's. Good luck. X
