Retuximab and the sun ☀

I have recently had my first infusion session back in November, but Sunday I was out in the beautiful sunshine and the next morning found that I had a slight rash on both my arms. Could this be the Retuximab? Has anyone else had the same problem? Many thanks, Nikki x

I have had just the first two RTX infusions (Oct '16) & recently spent almost a month in 75°F sunshine & had no adverse reaction.( I'm off for the second set of infusions next Monday!)

I did use lots of suntan lotion.....maybe you didn't this time as you were not expecting hot sun at this time of year?

if you don't normally react badly to sunshine I expect it was a one off !

So get thee to the suntan lotion shop & leave the bottle by the back door!

Let's just hope we need sun lotion, not raincoats & woolly jumpers this summer.
