Headaches on Benepali?

Has anyone else been experiencing loads of headaches whilst they've been on Benepali? Head so sore just now, tempted to lie down and try to sleep it off before the kids come home from school.

Hi

Yes I'm due to take my 4th injection today . Im experiencing a few headaches and mild migraines since I started taking it . Thinking it must be connected as I'm quite lucky and don't usually get many headaches. I've googled abit and think it does happen but hopefully might settle . If you're worried contact your rheumatology team for advice think I might do today . Hope it settles soon . Good luck

I know that feeling rather too well Mhairi but I've struggled with headaches while on Enbrel. I've yet to switch to Benepali but it's glowering at me from the fridge. Have you switched from another Biologic? I know we can't safely make assumptions, that we're all different, but I'm following other people's experiences of making the switch.

I have only found one med that helps with my (Enbrel) headaches and that is Sinutab. I think it's the pseudoephidrine that makes the difference. Whatever, I hope you find some relief. For me they're the price I pay for excellent joint health but headaches overshadow so much don't they. Get well soon.

This is my first biologic. It's worked wonders for my pain. Not sure if it's a pay off I need to put up with to be pain free in my joints....

I know, it's a tough one. I haven't found anything in 36 years that controls my RA as well as Enbrel, hence I (nearly) accept the headaches. They've been greatly improved since paying an arm and a leg for a deep tissue massage once a month. I hope you find a way forward that suits you - very soon.

I have been on Enbrel for 7 years, but got switched to benepali 2 months ago.... I started getting very strange headaches after a month (I didn't make any connection to the benepali) Sometimes tension headaches, then sharp headachs that move to different sides of my head, lightening /ice pick headaches..... I genuinely thought this is being caused by a brain tumor or something which was extremely frightening, but after reading up on this I found that some others have been experiencing the same thing!! I have to arrange a meeting with my rheumatologist, benepali side effects headaches are too much for me.
