My feet are the same.not attractive toes either.as my son.(yes son)!!😀informed when painting my nails..I can't do as my hands the same & my daughter wasn't in...my son is 6ft built like rugby player & loves his mum...x but not a laughing matter i know..I feel for you as pain is worse..try soaking in lavender oil..hope better soon.x

There's nothing wrong with your son painting your toenails i am proud of him for doing it for you darling. My hubby has to paint my toes as i can't do them either. Mind you i bet my hubby is not as good looking as your son is being so young.xxxxx

Hi Deejojo. That does look sore, I reckon a visit to the doctor is in order. In the meantime have you tried soaking it in warm water with Epsom salts in? If it doesn't help it won't do any harm

I'd be tempted to let your nurse know, phone the Rheumy helpline. Also keep photos, show them to your Rheumy at your next appointment. I'm wondering if delaying starting meds (trial) is too long away being as he won't start you on them until after your arthroscopy. For now you could try soaking them in Epsom salts, see if that gives you some relief. If you can't get hold of your team I'd be tempted to see your GP, maybe you'll be prescribed an NSAID or something.

Have your feet never been examined Denise or were your toes like they are now if they were ? Your 2nd & 3rd toes look the same as mine, seems like you've daylight sign or metatarsalgia.
