For a while now, I have been feeling cold in the afternoons. It is everyday. I feel cold. I sit and shiver. In the end I go back to bed and turn the magic blanket on, just to get warm.
My hands and feet are cold. I have a bug chunky jumper on. The heating is on.
Is this just me?

Go and get your Blanky, fill hot water bottle, cup of tea wrap yourself up, get on the couch and dream about long hot days on the beach and those young musclar bods, you'll be hot then rrrrrrr, it might even cure you lol. Rrrrrr
I have been exactly the same for the past 3-4 weeks.
I have a blanket ,2 hotties,a fluffy scarf .- have become my 3 best friends now.
Hubby has turned heating up as much as he can - hes in danger if getting sunburnt in the lounge and no matter what I do I Just cant get warm.
I visited my brother the other weekend I felt cheeky enough taking my blanket and fluffy scarf with me.My hubby was too embarrased to let me bring my hotties too.
If I have to go out in the car anywhere first thing I Do is put the heated seat on- was beginning to think it was just me so just glad I am not alone.
I have always felt the cold, but now I wear thermal underwear and several layers during the day, and two duvets and an electric blanket at night! I began to wonder if it was some kind of thyroid problem, but my GP did a couple of tests and said not.
Usually tells about thyroid dysfunction. Thyroid dysfunction is very often connected to RA. To be sure you need to do a thorough test not just the normal that is too superficial. I used to be cold all the time and it got worse just before RA diagnosis. I am now taking iodine drops, Lugano, just three a day and no more shivering and cold. May also be the combination of my AIP diet with the extra iodine. The diet gives energy to the mitochondria in our cells that is needed to generate energy in our whole body.
Have you checked and seen if your spiking a temperature in the afternoon I sometimes get like that with a headache and have to take something to reduce it and feel better than normally accompanied by big fatigue.
