In absolute agony with my back..............................

Morning everyone. Yesterday i got hubby to drop me off with my scooter up the village while he went to the hospital. I wanted to get some stuff for lunch which i did prepared and cooked. Well i was round the village and ready to go home when i came to a drop kerb to cross a small road between the shops. Well it gave me such a jolt it went all the way up my back and i was in absolute agony. I don't know how i got home between trying not to cry. I got home and broke down in sobs untill huby came home and wondered what on earth had happened i was sobbing that much. Well i have been in agony for the rest of the day and i put heat on it during the afternoon and went upstairs before tea. Well have had a rough night had about three hours good sleep thats all. The pain is not as acute as yesterday,but it is still very painfulk and is going down my right leg. I am at the pain clinic to see about getting another pain infusion so i am hoping he might be able to do something tomorrow,but i doubt it. I am still in a awful lot of paineven this morning. I am still got a virus that doesn't want to leave me. Roll on spring when the better weather gets here and i can get out in the sun and make a start on my garden.xxxxxx

Yes, roll on spring. The weather was nice the last weekend in January, and my hubby and I brought a truck load of garden soil home. We cleaned up and topped up our gardens with fresh soil and decided to start planting the first weekend in February...Well, mother nature descided to bring on another snow storm this past weekend. lol My gardens are 3 feet deep in snow. Oh well, the snow does look pretty and I just have to laugh when my little dog sinks in the snow. She normally hates getting wet, but she loves trying to swim in the snow

Sorry to hear you've been in so much agony sylvie....I hope you get the pain relief. ..and yes roll on summer for us all ... rest as much as you can ...I know it gets born watchin film after film and not being able to move around a lot...but summers just around the corner ...get a pan ready of what you want in your garden this year might brighten you up.. tc xxx

Sorry to hear about your back pain silvi, very upsetting when you make the effort to go out. Hopefully the pain clinic can offer some help. This virus has been particularly bad this year, I still can't get rid of the cough, nowhere as bad, but still gets me at times. Keep warm. Hugs G. X

Sorry you are having all these problems Sylvi. I can commiserate I have yet another ruptured disc and have had all sorts of bone scans to day to see why and what is going on. I am hoping I may get steroid injection in my spine to relieve the agony but I will have to wait and see. Have they done anything for your back or is it a wait and see if it heals thing?

I am seeing the pain clinic tomorrrow about getting another infusion for my back. Dr doesn't want to operate unless it is absolutely needed.xxxx

Feel for you,very sad there is no really cure for R/Athritus, like youa, some days I don't feel too bad and others I can hardly move, takes me all the effort to get out of bed let alone get showed and dressed

Thank you Craig,i have been worse,the pain clinic has put on their list as a urgent case for the infusion mind you how long that will take is anyones guess. i live in hope.xxxxx
