Anyone who is interested in this subject very good documentary on BBC TV 4 at 01.45 - 02.45 tomorrow morning. I know the majority will be tucked up cuddling favourite teddy at that time but maybe worth recording or catching on iplayer for those that can. If you dont catch it just ask teddy, teddies know everything.

Hi Leonwp. Many thanks for the heads up. I reckon I'll have to record it as I usually end up cuddling a small dog who likes to insinuate herself between Himself and me and (not being that bright) knows nothing.

Hugs

Jan

I've asked Teddy to watch it and tell me all about it after my beauty sleep. Unfortunately he found my Ale store and got a bit tipsy. I'll have to watch it on Iplayer now. Blessings.

Well it was very good, some amazing undesputable results, there is very little doubt in my opinion that the dutch development being trialed to interupt nerve stimulus is the right way to go, there are so many things that we dont know about the human mind. At the end of the day RA is simply the brain deciding to cause the body to attack itself, so why is it not perfectly sensible that the solution will lie in turning it back off again.

Blessings

Hi Leonwp,

You have put that so simply but it just summs RA up so much.

I know its been mentioned in previous posts that people who have suffered a traumatic experience can trigger autoimmune diseases and pain. This fits in with what you say about the brain causing our bodies to attack itself. This would also be why such a lot of people once diagnosed with an autoimmune disease eventually get diagnosed with another one. The brain is an amazing and complex organ.

I'm definitely going to watch that on catch up.

Thanks Leonwp, take care Linda
