So, I attended the hospital yesterday re the above. All went well. The injections didn't hurt and at the moment I am pain free in my hands and right foot. The left foot is a little bit numb and swollen where the needle went in. Time will tell.
Thank you to those of you who replied to my original post.

Hi Mickey, glad your injections went well! Where abouts in your hand did you have the injection? I'm due to have them in my knuckles on 17/1, I've had it done before about 3 years ago and I remember it hurting?!! Hope you continue to improve.
Glad all when well, I was hoping you would up date the page, now I just have to wait for the 20th Jan for my feet, hope all carrys on going well and more pain free days.
Since 1978, I have had them in most of my joints, in one bad winter period I have had 12 given in to most of my joints , but not my feet, at the time I did not like the two, one in each hip, it took about 4 days for the pain to die down, but once over that, was pain free for about 8 weeks, then back onto tables which helped this time round and no more injection, until the next time.
