I had a blood test, and flu jab this morning. Since they don't hand out lollipops, I decided a treat was in order.

As beautiful, frosty, and misty. My favourite walk. Shep likes it too!

Oh dear, feet and knees really hurt!
Fell asleep and like an ancient person after my soup.
Beautiful photo, thanks for sharing Where was this taken?
This is a photo of the Abby ruin Port Meadow Oxfordshire.
Thanks for replying. I love the beautiful old architecture of your country.
Where are you living?
White Rock, B.C. Canada
Wow! Lucky you! I've always wanted to visit Canada. You have some stunning landscape and wild life.
Yes, Canada is a beautiful country, but we lack the beautiful historical architecture. Vancouver (British Columbia) oldest building is only about 150 years old.
Sore feet and knees seem a worthy price to pay for such a beautiful setting. Rest easy tonight .
Ankles too! Ouch.
My problem is that I don't know how to pace myself. I go mad when I feel OK, then I'm wiped out for a week!
Doggo enjoyed it to though. Going to have to move in a minute to walk him round the block!
Dogs are so good at motivating us to move once in a while - mind you I often take mine out for a "wander" rather than a "walk"! 😂
Beautiful..good for the soul 😃
Hello Nettie, I'm glad you and shep had such a beautiful walk. I usually am very good at pacing myself, but now and then I say to myself, I know this is going to hurt, but it will be worth it. Some walks just have to be done. The joy of nature and being part of it is such a great feeling. As long as you give your body time to recover, you'll be alright I hope. Be good to yourself for a bit. All the best.
