Cars on pavements.

Right am i jinxed or what. You all know what went on yesterday. Well today i went up the village. Cannot go through the jitties as they have gates that you have to go round and my monster truck won't go through. So i have to go round wills mothers to get to the village. En-route i have to pass several cars that think its right to park on the foot path. Well guess what one van was parked so far on the path that trying to get pass was difficult to say the least. I ended up knocking his wing mirror completely off. I said to him that i was sorry that i knocked it off. He replied that he can see that,so i replied to him that he shouldn't park on the path and it was his fault. Got up the village and came out of the spar and wanted to get off the path and onto another path. One 4x4 was parked on the path and a sign for the shop and also pulled up was a van, so i couldn't get off the path at all. The van driver moved the sign,but i told him that he shouldn't park on the path. There was plenty of room on the road.I Trundled round the village and started to head for home,by this time wondering why i bothered to go out at all. Then i came upon a post van parked all over the path. I asked whio taught him to drive as he should have known not to parked on the path.

Why is it that it is probally safer to drive on the road than on the footpaths. Then i suppose we will get moaned at for that. I am really fed up with having to fight my way objects on the path.

Oh well thats my moan for the day. Let me know if any of you have these sort of problems.

I got an idea Sylv ... trade in your buggy for an horse and cart then you could cut across field's too! ehehh

it didn't take you long!!!! you slipped up as you were mentioned in yesterdasy blog,i expected you to add to that one. I would get into trouble if the horse crapped on the footpath!!

Whoa! You're getting to be the scourge of the road! You'll straighten them all out! Do you have village meetings, when residents can speak their minds about whatever..You could bring that situation up at a local meeting. Drivers are doing that because they can!

Point out it does create a dangerous situation. Children, elderly, handicapped persons belong on the path, not big old monstrous vehicles! And they must not be forced out into the road!

The best of it all loretta is it was in a quiet street so he could have parked in the road without any trouble. I get really mad when they do that. Its hard work being like this,but i still have to struggle because of inconsiderate drivers.

Hahaha .. i did read your blog yesterday and had a few "visions" but you mentioned you were suffering too so I relented, but I just went back to see where you mentioned me. Now if I had of seen that then yes you are right, I would have extracted some urine lol

4 x 4 drivers think they own the road and never give way in narrow country lanes.. even though they are built for getting on the verge and in urban areas they obviously think they own the pavements too x

There is never police about when you need them. Even if they are they move them on and not summons them. Then they only go further up the road and do the same thing again. I am afraid i'm not afraid to say something to these morons.

I am assuming ladies ... that you do know it could be female drivers that parked there, it's not always the bloke's fault
