Saw my Rheumy nurse today - she was so caring and kind - unlike the GP π‘
Made me feel a lot more positive she was very understanding and had answers with out looking like I was a pain in the arse π
After 6 weeks on Meds all seems not too bad at all - inflammation gone - joint pain 85% better π Just the brain fog and fatigue to deal with π So I feel very blessed ππ
I do understand this RA can be very up and down - but hey we have to celebrate the positives ππ
And guess what I asked and I can have a glass of wine at the weekend π· just not to go to mad π·π»π»π·πΊ
HAPPY DAYS
Love and positivity to you all πππππππ―

Did you ask her about the brain fog? I understand that not everyone gets it, but I've had it since just after I was diagnosed in 2004. It comes and goes, and over a range of different meds, so I'm not sure it med related. When I asked my rheumy, he didn't know why I was getting it and said it was probably my own body's way of dealing with the RA!
I did ask but she didn't really have an answer π€ I took it that it must be the Meds ? I'm hoping once I have been weaned of the steroids over the next few months that it may disappear?
Glad to hear you have such a great RD nurse. I have one too and she is just the very best. I know others aren't so lucky and that is unfortunate indeed. Have your wee glass.....or maybe a medium glass, whatever, just glad to hear of your vast improvement. All the best, Jean.
Hey Doughnut61 - You are right, that is all wonderful news. It's great to celebrate every thing you can with this, even a little thing like a glass of wine!
