Hi all, Happy news to share πŸ˜€

Saw my Rheumy nurse today - she was so caring and kind - unlike the GP 😑

Made me feel a lot more positive she was very understanding and had answers with out looking like I was a pain in the arse πŸ™„

After 6 weeks on Meds all seems not too bad at all - inflammation gone - joint pain 85% better πŸ˜€ Just the brain fog and fatigue to deal with πŸ‘ So I feel very blessed πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡

I do understand this RA can be very up and down - but hey we have to celebrate the positives πŸ˜€πŸ’•

And guess what I asked and I can have a glass of wine at the weekend 🍷 just not to go to mad 🍷🍻🍻🍷🍺

HAPPY DAYS

Love and positivity to you all πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ‘―

That all sounds very positive!

Did you ask her about the brain fog? I understand that not everyone gets it, but I've had it since just after I was diagnosed in 2004. It comes and goes, and over a range of different meds, so I'm not sure it med related. When I asked my rheumy, he didn't know why I was getting it and said it was probably my own body's way of dealing with the RA!

I did ask but she didn't really have an answer πŸ€” I took it that it must be the Meds ? I'm hoping once I have been weaned of the steroids over the next few months that it may disappear?

Glad to hear you have such a great RD nurse. I have one too and she is just the very best. I know others aren't so lucky and that is unfortunate indeed. Have your wee glass.....or maybe a medium glass, whatever, just glad to hear of your vast improvement. All the best, Jean.

Hey Doughnut61 - You are right, that is all wonderful news. It's great to celebrate every thing you can with this, even a little thing like a glass of wine!
