Can anyone help me with excruciating shoulder and elbow pain please. Is this another symptom of RA? Pains are intermittent in that it arrives, lasts for a few days and then disappears for a few weeks during which time the other arm is affected. I am currently on LEF and due to add abatacept. How do I deal with this pain as it prevents me from sleeping at night?

I too have painful shoulders at times. I use ibuprofen rub because I can't take ibuprofen tablets, paracetamol and a heat pad/hot shower. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't but heat generally is a good thing.
