I have RA and fibromyalgia. Have appointment today at dermatologist to see if I have also developed Psoriatic arthritis. Anyone else have all 3? Thoroughly miserable and a lot of pain.

I got a diagnosis of FM in October (to go with my OA and hypermobility syndrome), then RA in November, and then that was changed to psoriatic arthritis in Feb... If you are confirmed to have psoriasis, it may well change your diagnosis from RA to PsA, rather than adding it as an extra... I have been in a lot of pain too, for 4-5 years now. I think in my case the FM diagnosis is wrong, because my pain is quite specifically in my tendons and entheses. It's miserable, whatever it is. What meds are you on? A higher dose of NSAIDs helped me, and so do depo steroid injections. I'm on Hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate too, but it's too soon to tell whether these are working yet...

Thanks.

Been tried on methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine but due to bad side effects had to come off them. Now on sulfasalizine and Gabapentin and tremadol and zapain and ibuprofen.

Just back from dermatologist. She thinks it could be psoriasis but wants me to grow toe nails even though it hurts to be 100% and go back in 2 months.

Vitamin D Deficiency ?

*Google both 'Psoriatic Arthritis and vitamin D deficiency.'

Also look into vitamin A (with retinoic acid) as it is known to help teenage acne and it has helped my face, neck, chest and bottoms of my feet to soften, (yet I only took the vit A to help my eyes.)

My Mum's deep nasty leg skin cancer cleared up in only 6months, she was taking among others Vitamins D3 and A, Mum's nurse was surprised as skin graphs over deep wounds normally take around 18 months to heal. (We also took Mum off of her dangerous statin pills.)

Sending you my love and prayers

Gentle hugs to you

Sue

Yes, similar I have PS3, also Oak, and as my consultant called it rather nasty nerve pain, I have been told some  doctors don't call it fibromyalgia,I don't know,my instep sometimes looks like your toes awfull,I also have the sausage like look toes, but sometimes you are so confused, especially if you have more than one condition, one time it's planta facilities, then it's carpel tuneless, then it's torn shoulder rotate cuffs, but basically it's all down to arthritis
