Hi,

As I'm sure most of you are: I'm an ordinary, private person who is lucky to be working in a job I love with a great team of people. I'm reticent posting on here, as I'm wary of being in touch with people I haven't met face to face, however, I have been reading other's posts and can see how supportive and unobtrusive people are on nras. I now feel I'm ready to jump in and am looking forward to becoming part of a new 'great team.'

So here goes...

Welcome to the group Moomin8 :) I know what you mean - it is a bit daunting to connect publicly with people you don't know. You have chosen an anonymous name so that's good for a start. Don't give out any personal details that could identify you and as Sylvi says report anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. I'm in a couple of other HU groups and they have been a real lifesaver for me, the people are great and everyone understands how you feel because most people have 'been there' already. :)

Hi enjoy Health Unlocked National rheumatoid arthritis group .

Sorry you have found out about your RA but yes this is a great group and I felt very isolated before I joined and it's really helped.

If anyone upsets you do contact Nras but it is very rare. And just stick to the rules you would use on any internet site. When you post tick the community only box or it goes on general Internet , not just Nras site xx

I love your username. Sorry you have to join the RA club. We are all in the same boat and it's very rare that somebody is anything but very understanding and supportive. So a big warm welcome. Keep in touch.
