Speak to your rheumy about this. Hugs.xxxx
You don't give any background but if you have rheumatoid disease/arthritis diagnosis maybe it's inflammation causing a trapped nerve so I'd report it to your Rheumatology nurse. If you don't have RD/RA I'd make an appointment to see your GP. Something's clearly going on.

Hi
People with RA can get pins and needles and numbness caused by something called neuropathy, where the inflammation pushes on nerves, but of course there can be other causes for this, including things as serious as a stroke, so I think you need to call a doctor for advice as soon as possible. Hopefully it's nothing serious and will be under control soon, but always worth getting medical advice just in case.
Kind regards

Thank you
I can get carpal tunnel symptoms when my RA is active. If the symptoms stretch from the thumb to the middle of the ring finger this is likely to be the problem. It can occur on its own or be associated with RA. Google Carpal Tunnel for more information. I have found wrist braces have helped me particularly when sleeping, (I often fold my arms when sleeping).
