Attendance Allowance

I read a lot here about PIP assessment but as I'm too old for that can anyone give me help regarding attendance allowance. Wondered what is looked for, any tips etc would help. Missed out on PIP because of pride but it's time I swallowed that. Please help, thanks. Happy New painless year to you all x

Ring the DWP and ask for the form to be sent. CAB can help with filling it in,. Hope you are successful. Good luck! M xx

Yes get a form from the DWP. I filled the form in myself and sent in copies of all the hospital appointments I had and any relevant correspondence I had from the hospital. I received the AA allowance no problem at all, thought I would have to go for a medical but I didn't. My advice would be to send any copies of any information on your condition you have and what medication you are on, hope this helps. Good Luck xx
