Sounds like a plan Sylvi. Realistic goals are by far the most satisfying. Look forward to the day you post a pic of you wearing it & feeling good in it. Beautiful colour too. x

Hi good luck with your targets that sounds good small targets makes good sense X Dawn

Very pretty!!! I think your are smart to take one step at a time. Far to often when I go on a diet, I will go and buy a size 12 dress. (I'm a size 16) Then after the first 2 weeks of dieting when the dress can't get over my thighs, I get discouraged and binge eat on pie!! Lol.

gentle hugs

Sue

Hi girl, go! Cheers Doreen

I started slimming world on Thursday! Done nothing but shop and cook! Got flu but I'm determined to shove the food in even tho I feel sickly lol!

Can I ask I don't understand the healthy option thing, is it one from section a and one from b , or one from a and two from b, it conflicting in the books X

Thanks in advance X

Hi one from each!! I lost nearly six stone with them in 2002 and kept it off for 12 years until I got this darn PAF, it just threw me!! I kept it off so long by sticking to program all week and eating anything at all weekends 😀 it's a great diet so good luck, if you want any advice please ask, here or private message xx

Well done Sylvi. It'll be worth all the horrible stuff if you're better able to get around and wear nice clothes. The one positive thing from the past two years of being pretty disabled with my knees is that I've lost quite a bit of weight. I bought a nice parka from M&S about three years ago and it wouldnt do up. Now I can wear it all the time! So good luck to you, and enjoy that wonderful slinky dress, it looks lovely.

Its like a daily present to have that loose feeling isnt it. Is that chicken soup you're having? Lovely stuff.

To be brutally honest, there's so little going on that messages are a bit of a highlight, Sylvi! We're trying to get out for an hour or so every day in the car, today to Roslyn Glen (where the chapel in that book about the Holy Grail is) with spectacular autumn colours. Keeping our spirits up before next week's knee op.

Someone I vaguely know on an art course I'm doing just now told me the same, she has two new knees and is fine. Glad I've only got the two legs!

I'll be updating anyway.

I joined slimming world in June. My first target is 3 stone before Christmas which I should achieve 2 1/2 so far. Thrown Size 24 trousers in the bin. I am giving my self 18 months to loose 9 stone. I will do it! My knee was replaced 2 years ago, a lot better but not perfect but other knee is doing OK as new knee takes a lot of the pressure. Loosing the weight should delay having the other one replaced for a while I hope but will definitely do it if it deteriorates. Great to hear how you are getting on.

I love your target dress!! And so glad you are doing so well. I thought of you the last week or so. We made a trip to Denver, Colorado to see my sister and her family, so haven't been on the computer since last week. I hope each day brings you better healing and great weight loss! Hugs!
