You go girl! A few drinks does wonders, I'm forever saying my liver will pack its bags if I have another!
Yes I second that I find a few drinks and a laugh with friends works wonders. Just dont fall and break anything (like I did) lol. P.s and I hadnt had a drink.
How do you manage to drink! I used to be a bottle a night gal when I was newly divorced and on my own. Not that I was alcoholic or lonely just glad I didn't have that old git moaning at me and I could do what I wanted! Mind you I only had a couple of nights in a week, was working in home care at the time and most of the nights I was out putting poorly people to bed. Could do with some of that myself now! Anyway back to drink. I can't have any more than half a glass and my whole body seems to go into spasm and I feel sick??? Is that the Methotrexate? Not supposed to drink any way with it ... cor if only
I'm on twenty mg of MTX and when I want a drink I have one, usually whisky, so far the liver is still going strong. I drink Goats milk and use goats butter because I was told it's much easier for the liver to digest....every little helps
and quite honestly if the liver and alcohol don't get me the drugs will so it's a case of enjoy life while you can!! x
Welcome Beeper!
May the months to July roll by speedily as the bus pass hits the door mat! When I say "roll" I don't mean as in drunk! No, no, no! Alcohol and RA do not a good mix make but who am I to spoil such fun. Just watch you don 't hit the deck too hard too often!
All the best,
Lyn x
