Arthritis
Poor you, I hope you get results quickly. Apart fr the pain, it is just horrible when you feel as if it is just one thing after another.
I'm five weeks into a 12 week course of steroids - not the injection I'm too much of a wimp - and also two weeks into taking hydroxychloroquine and every day I waken up and can't believe I'm pain free. I get out of bed and I don't shuffle along and I pinch myself to remind myself it's really happening,
I've got some sort of inflammatory arthritis and I felt very down at first as it was just one more horrible autoimmune condition to add to the list.
I've also been gluten free since I started the steroids - my attempt at damping down my autoimmune system and I feel loads better although because I started steroids and GF at the same time I've no way of knowing if it is the GF that's helping.
I've even stopped taking omeprazole because I no longer have heartburn and acid reflux. Even my dry eyes don't feel as bad.
Hi I can relate to your story, I've got angina and RA ,wasn't a problem until I started metetrexate not my breathing a affected to the extent that I had a serious angina attack last Sunday night and ended up in HDU in hospital but I've reumy appt on Tuesday where I'm getting tested for biologics as Metz isn't doing the job take care
I've a knee replacement and it's so stiff I can't bend it back fully my other knee is now giving way can't put my foot to the floor some days with the pain what can I take to make it feel pain free
