Anti ccp

Good day everyone :)

My anti ccp level was 62 right before being put on methotrexate 15mg weekly last October. My doctor believes my brochiectastis is getting worse due to RA . I did a blood test last week and my anti ccp level has gone up to 282. Does taking Mtx cause this ?

Thank you. I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this.

Anti-CCP is an antibody that develops in your body as a reaction to the disease, not the drugs. I'm no doctor but seems unlikely to be response to MTX. But lung problems are worrying with MTX so do push to get it all checked out by your rheumy.
