Please find details of the NRAS Group meetings taking place next week:

Wrexham NRAS Group

2015 meetings will be held monthly on the third Wednesday at Tesco Wrexham, Crescent Road, Wrexham, LL13 8HF from 7-8:30pm. (Please make your way to the customer service desk where someone will be on hand to direct you to the room).

17th June - David Worral from Red Cross

North Hampshire & Winchester NRAS Group

The following dates for group meetings are to be held at Central 40, Chineham Park, Basingstoke RG24 8WG on a Wednesday from 7-9pm. (For a site map of Chineham Business Park or for a local area map of where the business park is located, please contact NRAS).

17th June - Lesley Nell, Therapist will be presenting 'the Benefits of Reiki'

Salford NRAS Group

The Salford NRAS group meet throughout the year on a Wednesday from 6:30pm-8pm in the Cafe are of the Angel Centre, 1 St Philips Place, Salford M3 6FA. (On street disabled parking located directly outside the Angel Centre, plus parking token available from reception for free car park round the back. Plenty of free parking after 6pm on the roads behind the Angel).

17th June - 'Occupational Therapy - Managing the activities of daily living with RA' by Helen Rogerson, Hand and Rheumatology Occupational Therapist, Salford Royal Hospital

Cambridge NRAS Group

The Cambridge NRAS group meet at Addenbrooke's Hospital/Cambrudge University School of Clinical Medicine, Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 0SP, bi-monthly on a Thursday. For directions to meeting room, please see nras.org.uk/groups

18th June - 3-5pm - 'Mindfulness for People with Chronic Pain' by Dr. Fatima Leila Marikar Bawa. This seminar will include a presentation on the following: What is mindfulness? Does Mindfulness work? What is the evidence for people with chronic pain? Why does mindfulness appeal to some people and not to others? Taking place at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Seminar Room F&G6.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don't have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
