Is anyone else still waiting for their MTX I'm now out of MTX, when I rang for my next delivery they said they were having trouble getting the size I have 20mg pens. How long can I go without before the pain gets bad. MTX also contains my Crohns so hoping that's ok.
Hope you are all pain free or coping, sending all hugs. XXXX

For the last couple of months my Pharmacist has been orderering my 17.5mg pens directly from Medac Chris. Might be worth asking if yours could also. Failing that maybe ask your Rheumy nurse if she'll dip into the hospital Pharmacy stocks for you.
Not doing too well just now but hoping things will turn round soon. Hope you're ok otherwise, I know I start to feel the effects if I go 3 weeks without my MTX but of course you have the added issue to cope with so I hope you get a supply soon. x
Thank you for your reply. Not sure what to do, I will the hospital Pharmacy on Monday and see what is happening.
Hope you feel better soon. I have my daughter in hospital at the moment it's been found out that after 4 yrs of visits to hospital for blood tests and consultation every week . That she has Aplastic Anemia and is under going very aggressive treatment. She will be in for at least 4-6 weeks. If this doesn't work then it's Bone Marrow transplant , which will be another 8 weeks. So its chin up and cope the best I can.
I rang Medac up in Scotland at the beginning of last week as I have been unable to get the pens but have been supplied the syringes instead. The lady at Medac said that syringe supply would be finished in 2 weeks and there would only be Pens! She rang my pharmacist and I got my 25mg pens in 2 days!! Medac say that production and supply have been back to normal for the last 3 weeks. She seemed to be blaming the pharmacist for ordering the wrong thing!!
Thanks for reply. I've never used a syringe before, wouldn't know what to do. I will ring pharmacy in morning and see what they say.

Hi - I had this email alert in my mailbox today - wonder if it explains the shortage of supply at all? I don't take this drug anymore but thought this latest from the U.S. Patient led charity, Creakyjojnts, might be relevant to those who do.
