Please find details of the NRAS group meetings taking place next week:

NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 6th April 2015

Bolton NRAS Group

This NRAS group is coordinated by NRAS Members with the help and support of Senior Sister Beverley Travers. 2015 meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of each month at Bolton One, Moor Road, Bolton, BL3 5BN from 2.00pm-4.00pm.

7th April - Gemma Chadwick from All Mobility in Bolton will be bringing lots of living aids for the group to see and try

Chesterfield NRAS Group

2015 group meetings will be held at Bridge Street Methodist Church, (also known as Pilsley Methodist Church) Bridge Street, Pilsley, Chesterfield, S45 8HE on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

7th April - Guest speakers: Your Rheumatology Team, topic: ‘Medication and Side Effects’

Banbury NRAS Group

The Banbury NRAS Group meet bi-monthly on a Wednesday in the Training Room of the Horton Hospital, Oxford Road, Banbury, OX16 9AL from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

8th April - 'Complementary Therapies' by Lesley Nell

Weston-super-Mare NRAS Group

This group meets monthly on a Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Asda Community Centre,

Asda Stores Ltd, Phillips Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 3UZ.

8th April - The North Somerset Healthwatch team will be talking about who they are and what they do

Cambridge NRAS Group

The Cambridge NRAS group meet at Addenbrooke's Hospital/Cambridge University School of Clinical Medicine, Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 0SP, bi-monthly on a Thursday.

9th April - 5.30pm to 7.30pm - 'What is CBT and how can it help?' by Rona Hardy, Specialist Psychological Therapist. Psychological therapies are being increasingly offered as a therapy for people with physical health problems. This talk will focus on types of therapy but specifically CBT and how this might be useful for patients living with ill health. Taking place at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Seminar Room F&G5.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
