Never been on my file because I changed GP's and it was left off. Last year the GP's took this off these foods so I got them from Amazon. I had a letter from my old GP that I had copied after taking it out of a sealed envelope. Hooray. I managed to see a dietician after the GP's said it was not worth it by pleading with a consultant that I should see one. Four months later I got an appointment and she was horrified at what I had to put up with and the facts I had not seen one for over 26 years. Well she wrote a stiff letter and asked for me to be reinstated with the prescripts. Had a phone call on Monday from the secretary saying I was to make an appointment to have them placed back on prescriptions. WON! But what a trouble it has been. Allergies and intolerances often not recognised and when I went to A and E they said "I was not allergic to anything because the doctors did not say so". I challenged this and said "£if you give me even a wrong plaster I will be ill or even the alcohol swab". Now most are on there.

Horrible. BUT I HAVE WON. 12 GP's in the practice so guess who I am not seeing again. Some nice ones amongst them. Guess who I am seeing.....still got the RA, OA, osteoporosis and hypothyroid, have sjogrens coming so the consultant said. Pains in all muscles, joints and ligaments. Can't have any painkillers. Too early to put me down I am 73 next week.
