Synovitus anyone
I would speak to GP as this could be a separate issue. Farm
Have you been told this is your RA and is definitely Synovitis? My Podiatrist said that my feet are not presently very inflamed or swollen and therefore the pain in my feet and ankles must be coming from my knees where the nerves are trapped - and he called it "Tarsal Tunnel" and said apart from anti-inflammatories and manipulation to try and free the nerve there's not much can be done for this presently. But I do have Raynaud's and take a vasodilator drug called Nifedipine and this has helped, although not completely eliminated the burning pain in my soles. Your GP should be able to help you with this as Farm123 says and physio and podietry might help a lot too if you can't take any drugs. Twitchy
Hello Carol ask to be referred to podiatry as I had the same problem and they have helped me a lot by giving me padded insoles for my trainers which they recommended me to wear. It has made such a difference. Good luck. Delia. X
