Is there an alternative if the steroid injection doesn't work ? Waiting for medication to be decided but still in pain after injection.

I had an injection in to my shoulder, it hurt like hell and the bad thing is, it didn't work and I won't go through that pain again it's just too much.

I hope your pains easy very soon.
