Hi,strangely enough all viruses seem to pass me by. I watch everyone around me get colds & flu, even when a couple of years my whole family had swine flu I didn't get it. I don't have the flu jab. I can only think that my immune system is in overdrive I can't think of any other reason.

Wish you better x

Hi

I very rarely get colds or sickness thankfully.

Which does surprise me considering how long I have had RA and how much medication I am on!

:-)

I have not had a cold, or any other illness for a out two years I also have been very lucky

Feel better!

I just found out that my dad has a cold. I'm his primary caregiver, I hope I didn't make a liar of myself. Now I'm running scared because I don't want to get sick! Yikes!

Lol

Hi Terrpist,

I had one virus after another and had been on antibioticts on and off for 1 year (had 11 antibiotics in 1 year) this was before I found out that I had RA and fibro. I don't get that many now though, could be the medication. I do get pain, tiredness, fatigue etc though.unfortunately that does not go away!

Hi, I seem to have blisters everywhere and the colds seem to mostly miss me. I do have quite a lot of sore throat...much more than normal. I think...in my case...It's the meds..I could be wrong . You didn't say what meds you are on. I hope you feel better very soon. Maryx

Hi, I don't get many viruses since going on MTX, however I generally feel very unwell most of the time. I spent most of the summer hiding from the sunlight because I simply could not tolerate the heat, coming out in blisters and rashes and I am constantly exhausted. Constant pain and exhaustion is a way of life now. Lynda x

Yes , I get sick constantly. If I go shopping, go to walmart, go to work, sick, sick, sick. It really is frustrating for me. I am very careful and wash my hands constantly but it does not seem to help. I really think my immune system is totally messed up. I am sorry this happens to you too. Hugs
