reduced my mtx to 6 tablets a week due to being very tired, but now the pain has come back with vengeance, not sure whether to up back to 8

or wait till I see my rhumy again next month, not sure if I can cope with the pain though. has dropping 2 tab a week affected anyone else so badly

I found when the disease was active it often left me very fatigued. Could it be your were going through a flare leaving you tired and cutting back on MTX simply has allowed the pain to be become more apparent.

I'm with Scottishlad on this one, as normally it's the disease that makes you tired. Give your rheumy nurse a ring? Polly

I reduced my mtx once when I was in biologics and I felt much worse until I saw consultant and was advised to increase to 8. So I wouldn't reduce again. My problem is taking 8 nasty little tabs once a week!
