PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT AN NRAS PROJECT - NRAS HAS BEEN ASKED TO HELP PUBLICISE THE FOLLOWING

Transport Research Lab (TRL) are undertaking road trials and are looking for mobility impaired and wheelchair user participants.

Details and requirements for trials on 6th & 21st August & 2nd September are:

• Participants will be required for approximately 2 hours for each session, but should allow for 3 hours at TRL.

• It would be preferable if participants could commit to attending all three dates to ensure consistency and comparability.

• Participants will be allocated a member of staff to assist you during the trial.

Participants will need to be familiar with independently using pedestrian crossings etc unaided.

The session will begin at 14:00 for all three dates, for mobility impaired participants and 16:30 for wheelchair participants.

There will be a briefing, followed by the onsite trial which will entail walking approximately 10 meters two or three times, followed by a questionnaire and then a focus group, for the above three dates.

The incentive is £60 per trial.

Please advise if anyone needs assistance with transportation from either Bracknell or Wokingham train stations, the TRL site is based in Crowthorne, Berkshire.

If you have any further questions please let me know.

If you know of anyone else who may be interested please pass on the trial details.

Best wishes,

Suzanne Ballard
