Navigating the new community

Some help navigating the new platform

Here's some information that will help you familiarise yourself with the new layout.

*HealthUnlocked Green Bar*

Home:

This Home page includes your picture, news feed (showing recent posts from all the communities you are part of), profile section with a bar in top right (showing percentage of profile completed).

Communities:

This is a list of all the communities you are part of and the directory showing other communities you can join.

Your Username:

If you click your username you will be shown a dropdown: profile, messages, email preferences, and account. By clicking 'profile' you are taken to an area where you add information about yourself (conditions, symptoms, etc ). 'Messages' takes you to your inbox. 'Email preferences' takes you to your account settings so that you can adjust your notification settings. 'Account' takes you to the same settings page.

Support:

This takes you to the support section of HealthUnlocked. You can find FAQs and more here.

*Navigating the NRAS Community (or any other one you have joined)*

If you click 'Communities' in the HealthUnlocked green bar at the top and click on 'NRAS' you'll be brought to this community. You can also type healthunlocked.com/nras in your internet browser.

While in the community you'll see another (different shade of) green bar. It looks like this: a Home (house) Icon, Questions, Posts, Polls, Members & About Us.

Home Icon (not Home on green bar):

brings you back to the home page of the community

Questions - click on questions, then ask a question, add the details of your question and submit

Posts - (what were 'Blogs' before) click on Posts, then fill in your post, add the details of your post and submit

Polls - click on Polls to see recent poll, pie chart, your vote and responses underneath

Members - click on Members, shows a list of members then use the search bar to find a member

About us - this contains information about NRAS (soon to be added and expanded)

  • Matt what is the red1 by my user name if it a message how do i see it. Coz i have tried do most things with it to no avail !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Did you click your name, then click on messages in the drop-down menu?

  • Thank you have now sorted it

  • If you click on your name/icon and then go to *messages* it should reveal a new unread message in your list.

  • have not found a new message just had another look may be you can sort it. Have got to go now may be when i get back red thingy will have gone oh pleaseeeeeeeeeee

  • Matt what will you do for the likes of summer who can't log in at all. I am getting around the site not too badly now. I will get used to eventually and we will wonder what all the fuss has been about.xxx

  • Matt,can you contact summer as she still can't log in. I don't know if it is her system or not,but she so wants to get back on. We all would like her to be able to access the site.Thanks matt,xxx

  • How do I search just this community? Using the search bar retrieves results from all communities which is useless. It used to only find results in the community you were viewing.

  • I can't find the posts I have started! What happened to the tab for this?

  • I don't seem to be able to upload a photo for my profile

  • On the old site you could see what areas other members were in and there was also, I'm sure, a list of local support groups. Is there a way to find local groups now or do we just ask admin?
