Where do i start.I ache in just about every joint in my body. My achilles heels are being a right pain in the butt. They are swollen as well. Both hands are sore. My neck and shoulders are tender as well. I try and keep upbeat all the time,but at the moment it is not working. I went to bedworth this morning and saw my optician and he has booked me in for moinday first thing and then i have drs in the afternoon,full day. Then wednesday my rheumy nurse is giving me a steroid injection. So here's hoping that i will feel brighter for my holiday next weekend.
I came home and i have done nothing since i came home,but sit in the sun and topping up my tan. I am feeling old before my time,at this rate rate i will 90 before i reach 60!!!!!!

Oh Sylvi, I know how you feel. I ache in my hands and hips, knees and feet (or lets just say everything bar my head!!) I have an appointment with rheumatologist 4pm Monday and hopefully get a steroid jab. Disapointed that mtx injections (7 weeks now) do not seem to be working. I do hope that you are feeling better in time for next weekend x x
Hi Sylvi,This disease keeps catching us out when we think things are going well.
I thought I'd dislocated my knee when I woke up the other morning.I could only hobble about the house.Woke up this morning and I couldn't move my arm as my shoulder had locked.I couldn't wait to take my ibuprofen and painkillers.Both my shoulder and knee feel ok now but I know it will probably be something else tomorrow.
I do hope you feel better soon and that your steroid injection will work wonders for you.It's really difficult to plan things when we don't know how we're going to feel one day to the next.I always read your posts and know that you are a brave lady and deserve to feel good for your hols.xx

It just gets ridiculous doesn't it? My RA used to gave a go at some joints more than others & the worst ones were relatively few in number. But lately it has decided to attack so many I've lost count & now I understand better what a lot of people on here have been talking about. So sorry to hear how you feel Sylvi. Here's to a better day tomorrow & roll on Wednesday. Luce xx
fingers crossed that tomorrow is better for you. i know what you mean about your heels my heels torment me - i can go to bed and wake up feeling like the tendons have shrunk!

Oh Sylvi my heart goes out to you, really hope the steroid jab gives you some relief for your holiday! When I was flaring badly a few weeks ago I decided the only thing on me that didn't hurt was my eyelashes!

I hope your having a better day today Sylvi, take it easy and pack a couple of things per day rather than all at the last minute. Love the smell of lilac, it doesn't love me though! xx
