Morning all, well i have been up since 3am. This is the second or third night in a row that i have been down here at silly o'clock. As you all know i have been having a massive flare. Well i am still suffering, but i am not sure whether it is as bad as it was. I am still in pain, but i don't think i am as weepy as i was last week. WHich is good.
Yesterday was lovely so i sat in the garden with my camera and just read the newspapers and clicked with my camera. We had a new cast iron bench delivered on friday with a canopy over the top,but there was not a cover for it,so we thought we might get a pot and a nice clematis to grow over it,which not only give us a bit of shade, but if we get a nice smelling one as well to boot. I think i caught a bit of sun as well and i felt brighter in myself.
I hope you all have a lovely day..xxxxx

Hi Sylvi, I had a bad night too. Took mtx as usual, then woke 3.30 feeling really sick. Not had too many probs probe so hoping its not to do with meds. Dragged myself into work, but not sure I'll be much use today. Your bench sounds lovely idea, just need sun to return.
Caroline.
NIce picture of your garden, clematis, rambling rose, honeysuckle your choices are endless. Good to hear that your not so weepy today, have a nap later on to compensate for being up at 'silly o'clock'. take care xxx
Look lovely, i hope you get many more sunny days to enjoy your new bench. Remember the sun cream though Sylvi. and i hope the flare is easing off now. x

nice seat I TRIED positngt about six!! site wouldnt accept comments. I was up from 5! worked, got a bit of shopping/ late lunch now so tired its nap time!!
I had to go back to bed summer i was that bad. I am not sure if i have a virus or an infection as my breathing is not clever. I feel a bit brighter at least.Hope you have had a god nap.xxx
Are you asthmatic?.. has mtx ever affected your breathing?.. you could try some steam inhalation to see if it helps.
Yes i am asthmatic and to my knowledge it has never affected me,but then there is a first time for everything isn't there. My nose is not blocked but it is worth a try as i have a facial steamer.xxx
Have you used your two types of inhaler today??. you Gp can prescribe more puffs of ventolin ( the blue one) in times of "crisis" but correct and regular use of the preventer usually (brown) should keep symptons under control,?.. if not ask Gp to review inhaler type and usage there are so many new types now including "combined drug inhalers".
Cant have our" number one girl" poorly for too long xxx
Love your new garden seat Sylvi, it looks like it's a nice quiet place to sit and enjoy reading your papers.
Sorry to hear you've been having a bad time. It's so easy to become down and a bit tearful when your in so much pain. I've been feeling a bit that way myself these last few weeks
Have there been any further developments on the Enbrel subject for you ?
I've had 4 injections so far and I really don't know what to think about it. I have odd times of feeling pain free which doesn't last very long, usually followed by severe pain and stiffness in my knees, feet and ankles particularly. It's as though the drug is struggling to work, but my immune system cuts in and takes over again giving me a sharp jolt back into reality !!
But, I keep thinking that it takes 3 months to work properly, so I must be patient, mustn't I.
I hope your bad flare soon eases for you. I agree with summer "can't have our number one girl poorly for too long." Lots of love and hugs, June xx
