Just got back from the doctors. I have post viral fatigue and it could take weeks to recover. Great just what i need. I have to increase my inhaler to 4 times a day of my blue inhaler. So i will be on here a lot ranting, raving, and anything else i can think of to amuse you all.
Take care all. Sylvi.xxx

Hi Sylvi, sorry to hear this. I had the same problem after flu many years ago and it took ages before I felt well again and that was before RA. I also have to increase my inhaler when I have a cold etc. Get as much rest as you can, plenty of good food etc (and the occasional drop of alcohol!), and if you feel tired as you will, put your feet up.
Did pass the sign for Bedworth last Monday on the M6 coming back from a funeral in the Wirral so at least I know roughly where you are!
Hope you will soon feel like your old self. Love LavendarLady x
You should have called in i would have loved to see you. I'm not far from the m6 junction 3. next time your up this way let me know and i will message you my number.
It will take time, but at least i know why i'm feeling like this. Sorry to hear that you had funeral to go not the nicest things to attend i know.
Unfortunately, there was no time. We were with friends who were driving and got caught up in that horrendous fatal accident on the M6 which was then closed for 11 hours! We were stuck for 2 hours. Because we were fairly close to a junction, the police opened a lane and got everyone off but we didn't get back to our friends at Peterborough until 10 p.m. and got home at 10.45 p.m. Had to leave the dogs with our friend overnight as he'd gone to bed by the time we motored in. Hi Sylvi,
I know its not nice but at least you know what it is now.
I had the same problem after my lung/chest infection I think its worse with the ra as we already have lowered immune systems so its harder for our bodies to recover.
Get plenty off rest, and let everyone pamper you.
Hope you feel better soon x Take care sending you a big hug x X
Sorry that it's something else for you to cope with but listen to the good advice and hope you'll be feeling much better soon.As you like hugs i'll send you a big on too (((( ))))
Julie xx
Hi Sylvi - I thought it might be something post viral from your description - good luck recovering and take care. TTx
You are lovely you know that. I am sitting here after dinner and fiddling about on here. I can't believe that a chest infection/pneumonia has left me like this. Doctor did say yes there could have been pneuonia there. So i am getting lazier than ever. I took my blood pressure earlier on after i sat down, got a surprise it was 179/91 couldn't believe it so took it again a bit later and it hadn't gone much. My body is a right mess ain't it,if i was a horse they would have put me down by now!!!!LOL. I have to laugh or i would cry.
OOh jokes like that from our beloveds - what would our enemies say?! TTx
Sorry about your news Sylvi - but I did wonder about something post-viral You just have to go with it 'til it passes - time to get to grips with Pacing now I think!
Do take care of yourself, most haste, less speed with PVF I'm afraid - I had it years ago after Glandular Fever.
Thank you cece, thats my trouble too much haste,i'm always want things done yesterday. I went to the docs in bedworth today and this afternoon i went to asda with bob,i sat in one of their scooters while we did shopping, but tonight i have gone downhill quite fast,i ache and feel out of sorts.
I was planning to go to the farmers market in the village tomorrow, but thats looking unlikely now.
Any idea how long this can last as i've never encountered it before.
Love sylvi. xx
Sylvie, you poor thing glad you went to the doctor and at least you know what you are dealing with now and how best to get rid of it. I will try and think of a few jokes to send your way, get stocked up on a load of dvd's and have a wonderful few weeks sleeping, watching tv, reading and ofcourse blogging - the time will fly in. No more Bedworth for a while. Lots of love - mads
Its 5.00am and i've had another rough night. Hubby thinks that going to bedworth and then to asda was just too much as boy did i suffer last night. A friend of mine came round with the avon for me and they stayed about 3hrs and in that time hubby watched me change so dramatically. I went downhill so quickly it was unbelievable. My blood pressure went up to 179/76 and i felt myself awful i can tell you. I ached, my knees, hands and everything inbetween as well. So after they left i went and had a bath and went to bed, thats all i could do.
So here i am silly time of the night downstairs because i went out yesterday and over did it. I had thought i might go up the village this morning, but that looks out of the question now. I like going to the farmers market in the village as it only comes once a month and you get more people out and about. There is one lady that won't be there though sadly. I do have some common sense and know it would be stupid of me to try and go.
Take care mads and i hope that at the time of writing this you are tucked safely and snoring gracefully.
